What is the difference between the standard and glass floor gondola?
The standard gondola seats up to 10 passengers and is wheelchair and stroller accessible, priced at RM 11 one-way. The glass floor gondola seats up to 6 passengers and has a transparent glass floor that gives you an unobstructed bird's-eye view of the 130-million-year-old rainforest directly below, priced at RM 29 one-way. Only baby strollers are permitted in the glass floor gondola. If you want the most dramatic views, the glass floor gondola is worth the upgrade.
Can I stop at Chin Swee Caves Temple during the cable car ride?
Yes. Chin Swee Station is a free midway stopover included in any Awana SkyWay ticket. Simply disembark at Chin Swee Station, explore the temple and its grounds, and use the same ticket or QR code to reboard and continue your journey to SkyAvenue or back to Awana Station. There is no extra charge for the stopover — just keep your ticket handy.
What are the operating hours of Awana SkyWay?
Awana SkyWay operates daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Chin Swee Station is open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The cable car undergoes scheduled quarterly maintenance closures of approximately 10–12 days each time. During closures, the Genting Highlands Gohtong Jaya cable car operates as an alternative, about 15 minutes from Awana Station.
Where does the Awana SkyWay go?
Awana SkyWay runs from Awana Station at Level 4 of Awana SkyCentral (mid-hill, 1,105 metres above sea level) to SkyAvenue Station at the peak (1,725 metres above sea level), covering a 2.8-kilometre route in approximately 10 minutes. There are three stations: Awana Station, Chin Swee Station (free stopover), and SkyAvenue Station, which connects directly to the SkyAvenue mall and Genting Highlands resort.

The most comfortable option is a private car transfer from Singapore directly to Awana SkyCentral, Genting Highlands, which takes approximately 4–5 hours depending on traffic and border conditions. Awana Station is at Level 4 of Awana SkyCentral, adjacent to Genting Highlands Premium Outlets. You can also fly into KLIA and take a taxi or express bus to Awana SkyCentral, about 1 hour from the airport.
